Nikhil Reddy
To Interact: WhatsApp

My running journey began humbly—being overtaken by a 72-year-old runner in my first-ever half marathon. That eye-opening moment ignited a passion that’s taken me from my debut race to a 10K personal best of 39:37, multiple podium finishes, and even completing an unofficial 111 km ultra-marathon for a social cause. Running, for me, is more than just a sport—it’s a mindset reset and living proof that we’re all stronger than we think.
Pacing Strategy: Hop on the 50-minute bus! We'll run by effort, not just by pace, adjusting for the course’s elevation. That means easing up slightly on the climbs and making up time on the descents—all while keeping a steady effort. I’ll handle the pacing so you can focus on your breathing, rhythm, and enjoying the run. Together, we’ll cross that finish line feeling strong, accomplished, and right on time. Let’s make it a race to remember!

I’m Raghunandan Bellam, and my running journey began more than 10 years ago. What started casually, with no specific goals, slowly grew into a deep and lasting passion. I ran my first half marathon in 2006, finishing in 2 hours and 15 minutes. That experience planted a seed that has since transformed running into an integral part of my lifestyle. Over the years, I’ve continued to challenge myself with new milestones, learning and growing with every run. I now run about four days a week, using it as a way to stay physically fit, mentally balanced, and emotionally centered. Running has become more than just a form of exercise—it’s a personal journey of self-improvement and discovery. Each stride brings renewed purpose and joy, and I continue to find inspiration in the simple act of moving forward, one step at a time. It’s a journey I’m proud to be on.

I've always enjoyed staying active—whether it was sprinting, badminton, or swimming during my school years. But I truly discovered my passion for running through the Couch to 5K program. Since then, running has become a vital part of my daily routine, giving me the perfect balance of fitness, discipline, and energy.
For this run, my goal is to create a comfortable and motivating experience for everyone. I plan to ease into the pace with alternating quicker and slower sections, helping us stay together as a group. We'll take a couple of short water breaks, around 10–15 seconds each, to stay hydrated without losing momentum. I aim to complete the first segment in 29:30 and the second in 30:15—finishing strong under 60 minutes. The focus is on enjoying the run, staying energized, and supporting each other throughout the journey.
