MEDAL DESIGN COMPETITION FOR  NMDC HYDERABAD MARATHON 2023

This year we are organizing the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon - Powered by IDFC First bank on 26th and 27th August 2023.

All race finishers are given a FINISHERS MEDAL, irrespective of timings and standing. Medals are a token of immense pride for the race finisher.

The Competition will be judged by jury by eminent artists and elite runners and the Medal will be unveiled in a press conference before the race.

Hyderabad Runners Society(HRS)

It is one of the largest running clubs in the country. It is a registered society has over 8000 active members with the intent is to promote an active lifestyle amongst the various sections of the society and to make running as most preferred from of fitness activity. We organize Hyderabad Marathon in August annually since 2011. It is the second biggest marathon in the country with 16,000 participants last year. The Hyderabad marathon is internationally certified marathon and NMDC and IDFC First Bank are the primary sponsors.

Medal Design Details

  • The content on the medal will have at minimum the following:
    • Integrated Approved Logo of “NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023, Powered by IDFC First”
    • “Hyderabad Runners Society(HRS)” Logo
    • Event Date
    • Distance: “42.195km”
  • Any other Design/ matter you wish to add
  • Ribbon/ lanyard design
  • The design should have both “front” and “back” designs
  • Please submit in High resolution pdf, jpg, or cdr format
  • Typically medals are made of zinc with suitable polish. Medals are About 80-90mm dia & 110 to 130 gms weight. Lanyard (ribbon) is appx 40mm width x 1meter length. We are not strictly bound by these sizes
  • Please don’t forget to mention your name, mobile and address on top right corner of your art work
  • Please describe in few words/ sentences the overall design and/or parts of the design. This will help the judges appreciate your thought and efforts better.
  • The design should be representative of Hyderabad/ Telangana Arts, culture or traditions
  • The design should reflect the spirit of endurance running
  • The design should be exclusive/ unique, thoughtful and with underlying meaning
  • The design should be reproducible on the metal- practical aspects of manufacturing
  • The Prize Winning Designs will become the property of the Hyderabad Runners Society and can be used by Hyderabad Runners and/or the Hyderabad Marathon (presently NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2023 powered by IDFC FIRST Bank)
